Award-winning chef and cookbook author Rudi Sodamin has spent his career elevating and innovating fine dining in the cruise industry. With four decades as a master chef, mentor and visionary, he maintains an unflagging passion for his craft. Before joining Princess, he led the food and beverage programs at Cunard and Holland America Line, launched restaurants aboard Holland America Line and Carnival ships and now spearheads, among many projects, “Wild for Alaska Seafood” that adds an array of new dishes and drinks to Princess ships sailing the region. Chef Rudi is a member of the Académie Culinaire de France, the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and the prestigious Club des Chefs des Chefs. Sodamin’s many accolades include Three Toques from the Gault-Millau Guide (1998), the first for an onboard restaurant.
