Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge
Located just one mile from the Denali National Park entrance, this lodge is your home base for exploration. It features vaulted ceilings, exposed timbers, 30-foot high glass windows and an expansive deck that overlooks Denali National Park and the Nenana River. You'll also find fabulous fine and casual dining options, peaceful nature trails, comfortable accommodations and unbelievable views at every turn.
Your cruisetour will include an official Denali National Park tour, operated solely by the National Park Service and the only way to venture deep into the park. Princess offers you four different tour options, ranging in legnth and depth, so you can customize your time in this wilderness treasure.
Princess also offers an array optional land excursions, allowing you to experience the Denali area in every way imaginable, from river rafting and wildlife viewing to flightseeing, fishing and more. We even provide complimentary shuttle service between the lodge and the Denali National Park Visitors Center.

Alaska Adventure Walking Tour – Enjoy a three-hour walk through the Alaska landscape with a naturalist to help you learn about the flora and fauna of the region. You will walk through boreal forest to taiga, the evergreen forest and reach alpine terrain depending on the ability of the group.
Denali Explorers Club Family Adventure – Venture into Denali National Park on a four-hour guided tour to learn the mysteries of Denali’s amazing ecosystem and make your own discoveries using maps, GPS, a compass and other tools to explore the park.
Helicopter & Flightseeing Tours
Denali Glacier Landing By Helicopter – Discover first-hand how glaciers continue to shape the great land as you soar over Denali National Park. Then land on massive Yanert Glacier and view the ice falls, bridges and glacial streams. Continue on to Mt. Deborah, at 12,339 feet, while watching for wildlife along the way.
Denali Excursion Via Helicopter – See areas of Denali National Park only accessible by air. Follow Riley Creek over rugged foothills to the Sanctuary River and watch for bear, moose, caribou and more. Plus you’ll marvel at stunning Cantwell Glacier, a virtual waterfall of ice cascading 900 feet to the valley below.
Denali Heli-Hiking Adventure – You’ll be awed by the grandeur of the Alaska Range from high above as a naturalist interprets the flora and fauna of the area at each stop. You’ll take flight and overlook the spectacular Yanert and Moody River valleys and see Mt. McKinley in the western horizon.
Discover Denali Flightseeing – This tour offers views of glaciers of the rugged Alaska Range and the wonders of Denali National Park, including circling Mt. McKinley. This tour features professional narration, headsets and window seats for all passengers.
McKinley Glacier Landing by Plane – Stand on a glacier high on the flanks of 20,320-foot Mt. McKinley. Your plane will land squarely in the middle of Mt. McKinley and you’ll have time to hike over a glacier before your return flight.

Denali Fly Fishing for Arctic Grayling – Beginners and expert anglers will enjoy a chance to catch a native Arctic Grayling on a small stream near Denali. Learn the basics of fly casting, roll casting and proper catch and release techniques. All fishing gear and instruction is provided.
Denali Jet Boat Fly Fishing – All anglers will enjoy a unique tour combining fly fishing and a jet boat ride. With a guide to offer instruction, you will set off by jet boat to a remote stream in search of the native Arctic Grayling.
Jet Boat Safari – Enjoy a fun-filled adventure into the Alaska Bush with chances to view wildlife along the way. Head miles along the Nenana River and meet the people who call this land of extremes home. Pan for gold and enjoy a hearty snack at a remote camp deep in the wilderness.
Nenana Gorge Whitewater – Brace yourself for an 11-mile whitewater adventure through the Nenana River Gorge. Experienced guides will row you through a dozen major rapids. No paddling necessary; all you have to do is hang on!
Nenana River Scenic Wilderness Run – This scenic voyage traverses the upper Nenana River on the eastern border of Denali National Park. You’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Alaska Range and the region is prime habitat for moose, Dall sheep, caribou and bear.
Four-Wheel-Drive Tours
ATV Adventure – Join your guide as you drive your own ATV on an adventure that takes you through old coal mine trails and into river beds where Athabascan Indian artifacts have been found.
Black Diamond Treasure Hunt – Travel as a group into the wilds of Alaska in a Polaris ATV with your own private guide. You’ll use maps and GPS to navigate the remote trails as you follow clues that lead you to a rustic pavilion where a camp-style meal is served.
